Frosty is the name of a Snowy Gryphon. She was born in Dragonblight, later found and taken back to Dalaran by Mei Francis. In 2009, Gazy found Frosty, and bought her for 2,000 gold. Before, Gazy had been using a Golden Gryphon for a year that he had rented, named Lafarn. Later, he bought Lafarn for an additional 20 gold. Gazy rarely used Lafarn to fly, using Frosty most of the time, but he still took good care of Lafarn and made him happy.
