Garrosh Hellscream, a ferocious orc Warrior that was once overlord of the Warsong Offensive in Northrend, and formerly the leader of the Maghar orcs in Nagrand, soon took Thrall's place as Warchief of the Horde. Later, during the Pandaria campaign, Garrosh is eventually stopped by most heroes of Azeroth in a siege of Orgrimmar and the Underhold.
Later, Garrosh escapes his trial in Pandaria and, with the help of the bronze dragon Kairozdormu, travels back to an alternate version of Draenor, 35 years in the past, to stop his father, Grom Hellscream, from drinking the Blood of Mannoroth and form the Iron Horde to invade our Azeroth. In Draenor, Garrosh takes over as Warlord of the Warsong Clan while his father leads the Iron Horde. Eventually, the forces of the Alliance and Horde confront him in Grommash'ar Hold in Nagrand. The player and Durotan/Yrel fight Garrosh for several minutes until he begins to beat them to death. At the last moment, Thrall steps in and challenges Garrosh to mak'gora. The orc accepts, and he and Thrall fight at the Stones of Prophecy. Eventually, Thrall emerges the victor after killing Garrosh by electrocuting him, as well as squeezing him with the hand of a rock elemental, leaving his corpse in the hand of the rock elemental.
