Skaitia Drakornai Emsworth is an afflicted Gilnean human rogue born one year prior to the opening of the Dark Portal. When she was young, her parents died of an unknown sickness, and Skaitia's older sister Clara had to take care of her. Eventually, the two joined the Sisterhood of the Shadow as acolytes and began training as rogues. At some point as a teenager, Skaitia went on a covert mission to Stormwind City, where she met Drasgar Emsworth, a paladin-in-training.
Later on, Skaitia became a full rogue in the sisterhood, and she traveled to Stormwind City, where she once again met Drasgar. The two began to bond and after a couple of years, they married, Skaitia becoming the lady of House Emsworth. Shortly after, Raideregam City was built on an island west of Stranglethorn Vale, and just after that Drasgar was called to the front lines in Northrend. After the Northrend Campaign, Skaitia traveled to her homeland in Gilneas to aid in the apparent worgen uprising there, and escaped the first battle in Gilneas City, during which Clara had been turned. Skaitia decided to look for her and take her back to help her, although Clara ended up biting Skaitia and giving her a scar over her right eye, and Skaitia soon after turned into a worgen herself. She was able to return to Raideregam, but an unknown sickness took hold of her, and for maybe a month she was unable to control her anger and remain a human; although the night elf Dorondaer Fadrielad healed her.
Deathwing nearly destroyed Raideregam when traveling towards Stormwind City, and Skaitia later aided in taking down the former Dragon Aspect. Not long after, Pandaria was discovered by the Alliance and Horde, and after hearing much about the pandaren people and their ways, Skaitia saw this as a good way to help with her recently-obtained "anger issues." She trained at the Peak of Serenity under the eye of Master Hight, and there she learned to control her anger, especially in combat, and learned new physical moves that could aid her in combat.
