Cataclysm is the third expansion in Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft, released December 7, 2010. In it, the main enemies are Deathwing, the Black Dragonflight, and the Twilight's Hammer. The dragon Deathwing is later slain by Shaman of the Earthern Ring, Thrall, the Dragon Aspects, and Alliance/Horde heroes, and peace is maintained for time. Each of the dragon aspects (Ysera, Alexstrasza, Kalecgos, and Nozdormu) lose their powers after Deathwing is defeated, due to them putting so much of their energy into the Dragon Soul to destroy the great dragon.
